This stunning art print captures the striking beauty of the Louisiana Blue Crab, Callinectes sapidus, in exquisite detail. With claws raised and ready to snap, the crab emerges from a backdrop of creamy white as vibrant as the Gulf waters it inhabits. The intricate linework and lifelike rendering are the hallmark of artist Dr. Lindsay Marshall, whose coastal-themed illustrations evoke lazy summer days by the sea. Whether you hail from the Bayou State or just appreciate the natural wonder of its wildlife, this print is sure to garner admiration from all who enter your home. Hang it in a place of honour to bring a touch of Southern charm and transport viewers straight to the shores of Grand Isle. Available in three sizes, it fits perfectly on any wall and makes an ideal accent for beach house or sea-themed decor. For the blue crab lover, there is simply no better way to showcase your affection for this feisty little crustacean.

BACKING BOARDS. Backing boards are provided upon request for small and medium prints. They are not really required if you are going to frame your print soon and will end up going in the rubbish. As a small business owner who is concious about my environmental impact I like to provide this as an option. Small and meduim prints are sent flat in rigid mailers and large prints are sent rolled. If you specifically would like to buy a large print with a backing board I can arrange this. It just might cost a little extra in postage. :)
