While the Common Coral Trout, Plectropomus leopardus, may lack the rainbow hues of its reef-dwelling cousins, this illustration by world renown fish artist Dr. Lindsay Marshall captures the understated beauty of this formidable fighter. With scales the colour of sunset and fins like gossamer wings, the coral trout cuts a dashing figure through azure waters. Yet beneath that graceful exterior beats the heart of a hunter, prowling the seabed for crustaceans and small fish to satisfy its voracious appetite. Now you can bring home this stunning specimen in the form of an archival-quality art print. At once minimalist and richly detailed, this piece is destined to be the focal point of your beach house or coastal escape. Hang it alone or group with other marine-themed prints for an eye-catching underwater gallery wall. However you display it, this coral trout illustration is sure to reel in admiring glances and transport you to the cerulean depths of the sea.

BACKING BOARDS. Backing boards are provided upon request for small and medium prints. They are not really required if you are going to frame your print soon and will end up going in the rubbish. As a small business owner who is concious about my environmental impact I like to provide this as an option. Small and meduim prints are sent flat in rigid mailers and large prints are sent rolled. If you specifically would like to buy a large print with a backing board I can arrange this. It just might cost a little extra in postage. :)
