This fine art print swims with vivid brushstrokes and oceanic allure. Scientific illustrator Dr. Lindsay Marshall captures the streamlined power and predatory grace of the Wahoo, Acanthocybium solandri, a pelagic speedster found in tropical waters around the globe. Known for its pugnacious temperament and ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in the blink of an eye, the wahoo cuts a striking figure with its metallic blue back, silver flanks, and ominous razor-sharp teeth. Whether you’re a hardcore angler who lives for the thrill of the chase or simply an admirer of nature’s marine majesty, this dynamic portrait of one of the sea’s most formidable predators will transport you to the deep blue and quicken your pulse. Hang it in a beach house, coastal cottage or any space that could use an infusion of high-octane tropical flair. Just don’t blame us if you suddenly get the urge to grab your speargun and head out to sea.

Lindsay has painted two versions of this species. This is version 2. Check out version 1 and see which one you like best!

BACKING BOARDS. Backing boards are provided upon request for small and medium prints. They are not really required if you are going to frame your print soon and will end up going in the rubbish. As a small business owner who is concious about my environmental impact I like to provide this as an option. Small and meduim prints are sent flat in rigid mailers and large prints are sent rolled. If you specifically would like to buy a large print with a backing board I can arrange this. It just might cost a little extra in postage. :)
