This whimsical illustration brings the gentle Dugong to life in your home. Lovingly rendered in precise detail by natural history artist Dr. Lindsay Marshall, this fine art print captures the dugong's playful and curious spirit. Known as the "sea cow" for grazing on sea grasses, the Dugong dugon is an endangered marine mammal found in coastal waters of the Indian and western Pacific Oceans. This charming portrait of one of nature's most endearing and vulnerable creatures is ideal for a beach house, coastal getaway or any space in need of a splash of character. At once stylish and conversation-starting, this print helps raise awareness for conservation of habitats and species through art. And with its blend of painterly realism, it's sure to spark imagination and delight all who encounter its soulful gaze. Available in three sizes, this archival giclée print is ready to hang, allowing you to enjoy the Dugong's company for years to come.

BACKING BOARDS. Backing boards are provided upon request for small and medium prints. They are not really required if you are going to frame your print soon and will end up going in the rubbish. As a small business owner who is concious about my environmental impact I like to provide this as an option. Small and meduim prints are sent flat in rigid mailers and large prints are sent rolled. If you specifically would like to buy a large print with a backing board I can arrange this. It just might cost a little extra in postage. :)
