When I put together the Fanci Bois! calendar, the Pacific Fanfish (Pteraclis velifera) quickly became an unexpected favourite. With its massive, sail-like dorsal and anal fins that collapse into scaled sheath grooves, this pelagic fish has a striking silhouette.
I originally printed a limited run of these T-shirts as giveaway prizes. After dozens of messages asking where to buy one, I’m opening a limited preorder run.
